Florence

We arrived in Florence yesterday by train and right on time! As you've probably guessed, we got on the correct train and it was a pleasant ride for about an hour and 40 minutes. It was windy in Rome and here also. Florence is much more mellow than Rome, and not so spread out. We walked from the train station to the hotel with minimum confusion. I asked some official looking guy for some directions - in Italian. We finally found the hotel. We walked around, across the Ponte Vecchio, and after dinner last night stumbled upon the Duomo while trying to make our way back to the hotel.
